                          THIS STYLE IS PROBABLY THE QUICKEST TO MAKE AND WOULD NOT BE AS STABLE AS OTHERS. BY STABLE I MEAN THAT THE FOCUSING BOARD IS HARD TO GET AND KEEP STRAIGHT WHEN TRYING TO FOCUS AND IF YOU'RE AN IMPATIENT PERSON I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS ONE. IT WORKS WELL FOR A QUICK WAY TO TEST THE WHOLE "MOVIE PROJECTOR" THING TO GET A GENERAL IDEA. YOU CAN USE A MAGNIFYING LENS, I USED A ROUND MAGNIFYING LENS ABOUT 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER THAT MAGNIFIES X10. I AM STILL EXPERIMENTING WITH THIS LENS, IT GIVES A PRETTY GOOD PICTURE BUT HAS TO BE CLOSER TO THE WALL THAN I WOULD LIKE. TO GET A SCREEN SIZE OF AROUND 5 FT THE PROJECTOR NEED ONLY BE 5FT FROM MY WALL. HERE IS A PICTURE OF THIS PROJECTOR MADE. AND A PICTURE OF THE SCREEN IT PRODUCED.




MATERIALS LIST
1. THICK CORRUGATED CARDBOARD (CARDBOARD CAN BE REPLACED WITH ANYTHING STURDY AND NOT TOO HEAVY EG. THIN FIBERBOARD/WOOD PANELING ETC.)
2. MAGNIFYING GLASS (A FRESNEL LENS IS RECOMMENDED)
3. BLACK PAINT
4. DUCT TAPE
5. SATINY KNIFE OR SHARP KNIFE
6. RULER
7. PENCIL OR TEXTA

             

STEP 1.
FIRST MEASURE THE HEIGHT AND WIDTH OF YOUR TV SCREEN. MAKE SURE TO MEASURE JUST THE SCREEN AND NOT THE BOX AROUND IT. 
STEP 2.
THEN ON THE CARDBOARD/WOOD ETC. MARK OUT YOUR MEASUREMENTS FOR THE SCREEN HEIGHT AND WIDTH AND SET THE DEPTH TO 18 INCHES. CUT 2 OF EACH WITH YOUR SATINY KNIFE. (WHERE I HAVE WRITTEN "TV HEIGHT" AND "TV WIDTH" I AM REFERRING TO SCREEN SIZE.)

STEP 3.
YOU WILL THEN HAVE 4 INDIVIDUAL PIECES THAT WILL FORM THE SIDES OF THE CUBE, TOP,BOTTOM, LEFT AND RIGHT. WHEN WE PUT IT TOGETHER IT WILL LOOK LIKE THIS. I HAVE COLOURED THE DIAGRAM ONLY TO HELP YOU VISUALIZE THE BOX BETTER. 
STEP 4.
SO HERE WE ARE WITH 4 INDIVIDUAL PIECES THAT MAKE UP THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX. DON'T PUT THEM TOGETHER JUST YET.
STEP 5.
WE NOW HAVE TO CUT THE INSIDE PART....THE "FOCUSING BOARD". THIS IS BASICALLY THE SCREEN HEIGHT AND WIDTH. IT WILL SIT INSIDE THE BOX AS SHOWN BELOW. 
STEP 6.
START BY MARKING OUT THE MEASUREMENTS ON THE CARDBOARD/WOOD WITH A RULER AN THEN CUT OUT THE FOCUSING BOARD. CREATE A STRAIGHT LINE FROM ONE CORNER TO OPPOSITE CORNER TO FORM A CROSS ON THE FOCUSING BOARD, CENTRE THE MAGNIFYING LENS WITH HELP FROM THE CROSS. NOW TRACE AROUND THE MAGNIFYING LENS SO THAT YOU HAVE A DRAWN CIRCLE ON THE FOCUSING BOARD AND NOW CUT OUT THE CIRCLE. NOTE : THE MAGNIFYING LENS MUST FIT SNUGLY INTO THE HOLE.
NOTE: IF YOU ARE MAKING THIS FROM CARDBOARD, YOU CAN ANGLE THE STANELY KNIFE WHEN CUTTING THE CIRCLE SO THAT THE HOLE IN BACK SIDE OF THE CARDBOARD IS SLIGHTLY LARGER THAN THE FRONT. I HAVE TRIED TO DEMONSTRATE THIS IN THE PICTURE BELOW.

STEP 7.
TAKE ALL FIVE PIECES PAINT THEM BLACK. BOTH SIDES IF YOU WISH BUT PAINTING THE INSIDES ONLY IS ESSENTIAL FOR A GOOD PICTURE. THE BLACKER THE BETTER. MAKE SURE YOU USE FLAT OR MATT BLACK PAINT.
STEP 8.
ONCE THE PIECES ARE DRY, ITS TIME TO STICK THEM TOGETHER. USING SMALL PIECES OF DUCT TAPE, FORM THE SIDES OF THE BOX (BLACK ON THE INSIDE) AND STICK THE SMALL PIECES OF DUCT TAPE ON SO IT HOLDS ITS SHAPE.
STEP 9.
NOW THAT THE BOX IS HELD IN PLACE REINFORCE AND CLOSE THE GAPS BY RUNNING A STRIP OF DUCT TAPE DOWN EACH JOIN.
STEP 10.
NOW TAKE THE FOCUSING BOARD AND INSERT THE MAGNIFYING LENS IN IT. ATTACH TWO PIECES OF DUCT TAPE ON EACH SIDE TO ACT AS HANDLES TO HELP HOLD THE FOCUSSING BOARD WHEN TRYING TO FOCUS THE IMAGE.
STEP 11.
TURN YOUR TV UPSIDE DOWN.(IT WON'T DO ANY MAJOR DAMAGE, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THIS THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE).WITH DUCT TAPE ATTACH THE BOX TO THE SCREEN OF YOUR TV MAKING SURE TO CLOSE ANY GAPS SO THAT NO LIGHT WILL ESCAPE. THEN INSERT THE FOCUSSING BOARD INSIDE THE BOX. YOU ARE NOW READY TO USE YOUR PROJECTOR.

STEP 12.
SOMETIMES IT IS DIFFICULT TO PREDICT WHAT THE BEST POSITION FOR THE TV AND FOCUSING BOARD SHOULD BE TO GET A PICTURE. I ALWAYS START BY LINING UP THE OUTSIDE END OF THE BOX ABOUT 2 INCHES FROM THE WALL, THE PICTURE IS VERY SMALL BUT AT LEAST YOU KNOW ITS WORKING. THEN SLOWLY MOVE THE TV AND PROJECTOR AWAY FROM THE WALL UNTIL THE DESIRED SCREEN SIZE IS ACHIEVED. THEN USE THE FOCUSING BOARD TO FOCUS THE IMAGE. IT WILL TAKE A LITTLE FIDDLING AROUND WITH BUT YOU'LL GET IT.

DON'T WANT TO TURN YOUR TV UPSIDE DOWN? HERE ARE THE ALTERNATIVES.


THE FIRST ALTERNATIVE IS TO PUT YOUR TV ON ITS BACK WITH THE PROJECTOR ON FACING THE CEILING. THIS WILL THEN PROJECT THE IMAGE INTO THE CEILING. YOU COULD LAY BACK AND WATCH THE MOVIE ON THE CEILING OUR PLACE A MIRROR AT A 45 DEGREE ANGLE AT THE END OF THE PROJECTOR. THE IMAGE WILL THEN BE PROJECTED ONTO THE MIRROR AND BOUNCE OFF ONTO THE WALL REVERSING THE IMAGE TOP TO BOTTOM.

THE ONLY OTHER ALTERNATIVE IS TO WATCH THE SCREEN UPSIDE DOWN. ADDING ANOTHER MAGNIFYING LENS WILL NOT TURN THE IMAGE AROUND THE RIGHT WAY.

HOW TO INSERT THE FRESNEL LENS.


MEASURE THE DIAMETER OF THE 5TH BIGGEST CIRCLE ON THE FRESNEL LENS AND HALF THE AMOUNT TO GET THE MEASUREMENT OF THE RADIUS. SET YOUR COMPASS AT THIS MEASUREMENT AND PLACE THE POINT OF THE COMPASS ON THE MIDDLE MARK OF THE FRONT PANEL. DRAW YOUR CIRCLE AND CUT IT OUT. USE DUCT TAPE TO HOLD THE RECTANGULAR SHAPED LENS IN PLACE. (USING DUCT TAPE WILL ALLOW YOU TO TURN OR MOVE THE LENS IF YOU HAVE TO.

To fix the wording or text on your projection from being backward, use the following picture. 
Lay the TV on it's back, so the screen faces the ceiling. With the projector attached to your TV, it will project to the ceiling in this position. Now, take a mirror at a 45 degree angle and attach it to the front of your projector box like in the above picture. This will then redirect the projection onto your wall with the text properly displayed.

To Improve Picture Quality:

Good results may be obtained by using a white sheet, a light colored wall, or even a shower curtain. But for best results we recommend you use a Silver Finished Screen made only for projected TV images. This will give you up to 6 - times brighter pictures than any other screen or material. No hot spots. No blurry edges. Can be viewed in partially lighted rooms. HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN PROJECTOR SCREEN. Simply buy from your local paint store (for about $2.00) a Spray can of either No. 1246 Testors Enamel in Metallic Silver, or No. 1401 Krylon Bright  Silver enamel. Spray lightly several coats on wall, ceiling, plywood, wallboard, cardboard, etc. Let dry, and make more applications until a thick and smooth even coat of silver is deposited. This will give you a professional viewing screen that will greatly improve your projected TV image.

Blurry edges? Try sandwiching the lens in between two panels of flat glass. This will insure the lens is completely flat and thus project a better picture!


Don't Want to Turn your TV upside down?
Would you rather not turn your TV upside down? Then try this simple method. It's called Tube Yoke Flipping. Simply find a plug with 4 wires (red - blue<horizontal lines> and yellow - green<vertical lines>) and switch the red with the blue/blue with red and yellow with green/green with yellow. Use the picture below for help when asking your local TV repairman to complete this for you.

It takes five minutes and you do not have to have any technical experience to do this! Never opened a TV before? Don't worry! Try this, it's soooo simple and will not damage your TV.
DO NOT OPEN YOUR TV YOURSELF!!! HAVE A TRAINED TV PROFESSIONAL DO THIS FOR YOU!!! TV'S STORE ENERGY EVEN WHEN UNPLUGGED AND YOU CAN BE SEVERELY ELECTROCUTED IF YOU TOUCH THE WRONG THING!!! TAKE YOUR TV TO YOUR LOCAL TV REPAIR SHOP AND THEY CAN COMPLETE THIS FOR YOU FOR ONLY A FEW $$.

AGAIN WE RECOMMEND YOU NOT OPEN YOUR TV YOURSELF! DO NOT TRY IT! IF YOU DO, IT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Color Problems When you Turn your TV Upside Down?
When you flip your TV upside down, do you get some discoloration? Try this method to fix any discoloration...
  1. Turn your TV upside down.
  2. Turn it on and verify the colors are wrong.
  3. Turn your TV off, but leave it plugged in.
  4. Leave your TV off but still plugged in for ATLEAST 30 minutes.
  5. Turn your TV back on. The colors should be fixed.
(MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE YOUR TV PLUGGED IN THE WHOLE TIME WHILE DOING THIS.)

THE ONE WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR.

THE DESIGN OF "THE BIG " WAS BASED ON INSTRUCTION SET 3. WITH A FEW MODIFICATIONS WE WERE ABLE TO MAKE A PROJECTOR WITH AN INTERCHANGEABLE LENS. WE DID THIS SO THAT YOU CAN COMPARE THE QUALITY OF IMAGE BETWEEN THE NORMAL MAGNIFYING LENS AND THE FRESNEL LENS. WE TOOK A FEW PICS AS WE WENT ALONG AND AT THE END YOU WILL FIND PICS OF THE OUTPUT OF THIS BABY. IF YOU HAVE AGO AT "BIG" MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A LOOK AT INSTRUCTION SET 3. INSTRUCTION SET 3 HAS ALL THE BASIC PROCEDURES THAT ARE ESSENTIAL TO MAKING "BIG". HAVE FUN AND ENJOY! 


Steps:

FIRST WE TOOK THIS 13 INCH TV TO TURN INTO OUR "BIG" PROJECT. BECAUSE THE SCREEN CURVES IT WOULD BE PRETTY HARD TO MAKE THE PROJECTOR BOX FIT THE EXACT SHAPE OF THE SCREEN. NOT IMPOSSIBLE OF COURSE BUT WE DECIDED TO TAKE THE EASY ROAD AND BUILD AROUND THE STRAIGHT EDGES OF THE TV. WE CHOSE 3 MM PLY WOOD FOR THIS PARTICULAR JOB. ITS LIGHT AND INEXPENSIVE. 

13 INCH TV (ABOVE)
OUR FIRST TASK WAS TO TAKE THE MEASUREMENTS OF THE TV HEIGHT AND WIDTH. THEN WE CUT THE SIDES, TOP AND BOTTOM ALLOWING 6 MM EXTRA ON THE TOP AND BOTTOM SHEETS FOR THE JOINS. EACH SHEET HAVING THE DEPTH OF 500 MM
CUTTING FRONT PANEL (ABOVE)
BECAUSE WE USED 3 MM PLY, WE NEEDED TO MAKE SOME EDGES FOR JOINING AND ADDED STABILITY. WE CUT THESE THE SAME LENGTH AS THE BOX DEPTH (500 MM).
CUTTING CORNER STRIPS FROM 95 MM X 50 MM PINE (ABOVE)
AFTER CUTTING THESE CORNER STRIPS WE GLUED AND NAILED THEM TOGETHER TO MAKE CORNER STRIPS TO NAIL THE PLY WOOD TO.


USING WOOD GLUE FOR ADDED STRENGTH (ABOVE LEFT) WE USED A NAIL GUN TO NAIL THESE FLAT PINE STRIPS INTO A CORNER STRIP (ABOVE RIGHT)
AFTER THESES CORNER STRIPS WERE MADE WE GLUED AND NAILED THE TOP, BOTTOM AND SIDES TO THE INSIDES OF THESE CORNER STRIPS.

MORE GLUE ON THE CORNER STRIPS BEFORE ATTACHING THE TOP, BOTTOM, LEFT AND RIGHT PANELS (ABOVE LEFT) ATTACHING THE BOTTOM PANEL ONTO THE STRIP WHERE THE GLUE WAS JUST APPLIED(ABOVE RIGHT)
WE REPEATED THE PROCESS FOR EACH SIDE UNTIL THE BOX HAD FOUR SIDES.
FINISHING UP THE FIRST "OUTER" BOX (ABOVE)
OK. AFTER COMPLETING THE PROCESS FOR EACH SIDE WE WERE LEFT WITH A 4 SIDED BOX (500 MM IN DEPTH) THAT FIT SNUGLY AROUND OUR TV SET WITH THE CORNER STRIPS ON THE OUTSIDE.
THE FINISHED "OUTER" BOX (ABOVE)
WE THEN SET ABOUT CUTTING THE PLY FOR THE SECOND "INSIDE" BOX. THIS BOX HAS TO FIT SNUG INSIDE THE OUTER BOX SO THE CORNER STRIPS WERE APPLIED TO THE INSIDE.

CUTTING THE PANELS FOR THE "INNER" BOX (ABOVE LEFT) ITS A GOOD IDEA TO CHECK THAT THE PANELS FIT INSIDE THE "OUTER" BOX BEFORE CONTINUING (ABOVE RIGHT)
MAKE THE CORNER STRIPS SAME AS THE FIRST BOX BUT THEY SHOULD BE SHORTER AT ONE END. OUR PINE STRIPS WERE 50 MM WIDE SO WE CUT 50 MM OFF THE END OF EACH CORNER STRIP TO THE INSIDE BOX. WE DID THIS BECAUSE ONCE THE SIDES, TOP AND BOTTOM OF THE INSIDE BOX ARE TOGETHER THERE MUST BE A FRAME AT ONE END FOR THE FRONT PANEL TO ATTACH TO. MAKE SURE TO ATTACH THE CORNER STRIPS FOR THIS "INSIDE" BOX ONTO THE INSIDE OR YOU WONT BE ABLE TO GET IT INSIDE THE "OUTER" BOX.

ATTACHING THE PANELS CAN BE MADE EASIER IF YOU USE CLAMPS TO HELP HOLD THEM IN PLACE (ABOVE LEFT) USING A NAIL GUN REALLY MAKES IT ALOT QUICKER. (ABOVE RIGHT)
WE MADE OUR BOX WITH A "SLIDE IN FRONT" PANEL PURELY TO BE ABLE TO SHOW YOU THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO LENSES ON THE SAME BOX AND TV. ONCE BOTH BOXES WERE COMPLETE WE MADE THE FRONT PANEL. YOU NEED ONLY MAKE ONE TO ACCOMMODATE THE LENS YOU WANT TO USE.
THE FRAME FOR THE FRONT PANEL IT ATTACHED. (ABOVE)

ONCE THE FRONT PIECE HAD BEEN CUT TO SIZE WE HAD TO FIND THE SCREEN CENTRE ON THE PLY WOOD FRONT PANEL. BECAUSE WE MADE THE BOX TO FIT THE TV AND NOT THE TV SCREEN WE COULDN'T JUST FIND THE CENTRE OF THE THE FRONT PANEL. FIRST WE MEASURED IN FROM THE SIDES, TOP AND BOTTOM. IN OUR CASE, THE MEASUREMENTS FROM OUTSIDES OF THE BOX TO THE EDGES OF THE SCREEN WERE : TOP TO SCREEN EDGE 40MM
SIDES TO SCREEN EDGE 38MM
BOTTOM TO SCREEN EDGE 78MM

WE TRANSFERRED THESE MEASUREMENTS ONTO THE FRONT PANEL AND THEN FOUND THE CENTRE BY MAKING A CROSS FROM CORNER TO CORNER. WE THEN MEASURED THE RADIUS OF THE 5TH BIGGEST CIRCLE ON THE FRESNEL LENS AND USED A COMPASS TO DRAW THE CIRCLE ONTO THE PLY WOOD. WE CUT THE HOLE AND THEN GAVE EVERYTHING A LIGHT SANDING.
MARKING THE HOLE FOR THE LENS (ABOVE) NOTE: EVEN THOUGH THE LENS IS PAGE SHAPED MAKE SURE THE HOLE FIR THE LENS IS A CIRCLE.
ONCE EVERYTHING HAD BEEN LIGHTLY SANDED WE TOOK IT ALL OUTSIDE FOR A COAT OF BLACK PAINT ON THE INSIDE AND LET IT DRY.
SPRAYING THE INSIDE OF BOTH BOXES AND THE FRONT PANEL (ABOVE) - MAKE SURE YOU DON'T INHALE THE FUMES.
WE MEASURED IN FROM EACH SIDE (LEFT AND RIGHT) TO CENTRE THE LENS AND USED OUR BETTER JUDGMENT TO CENTRE IT (TOP,BOTTOM) AND THEN USED DUCT TAPE TO SECURE THE LENS IN PLACE. BY USING DUCT TAPE WE CAN EASILY REPOSITION THE LENS OR TURN IT AROUND IF WE NEED TO.
 SECURE THE FRONT ONTO THE BOX OR IN OUR CASE SLIDE THE FRONT IN.
A QUICK APPLICATION OF BEES WAX ALONG THE CORNERS OF THE INSIDE BOX TO HELP IT SLIDE EASILY.
AND THERE YOU HAVE IT. "BIG" 

 TO GET THE IMAGE BELOW WE SET UP THE PROJECTOR IN THE FOLLOWING WAY. YOU WILL HAVE TO FIDDLE AROUND WITH YOUR LENS AND PROJECTOR TO GET THE IMAGE RIGHT. IT DOES WORK SO PERSEVERE WITH IT AND IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS WE WILL TRY TO DO OUR BEST TO ANSWER THEM FOR YOU.

STEP 6.
START BY MARKING OUT THE MEASUREMENTS ON THE CARDBOARD/WOOD WITH A RULER AN THEN CUT OUT THE FOCUSING BOARD. CREATE A STRAIGHT LINE FROM ONE CORNER TO OPPOSITE CORNER TO FORM A CROSS ON THE FOCUSING BOARD, CENTRE THE MAGNIFYING LENS WITH HELP FROM THE CROSS. NOW TRACE AROUND THE MAGNIFYING LENS SO THAT YOU HAVE A DRAWN CIRCLE ON THE FOCUSING BOARD AND NOW CUT OUT THE CIRCLE. NOTE : THE MAGNIFYING LENS MUST FIT SNUGLY INTO THE HOLE.

 NOTE: IF YOU ARE MAKING THIS FROM CARDBOARD, YOU CAN ANGLE THE STANELY KNIFE WHEN CUTTING THE CIRCLE SO THAT THE HOLE IN BACK SIDE OF THE CARDBOARD IS SLIGHTLY LARGER THAN THE FRONT. I HAVE TRIED TO DEMONSTRATE THIS IN THE PICTURE BELOW.

STEP 7.
REPEAT STEP 2 TO MAKE THE INSIDE BOX AND REMEMBER THAT THE INSIDE BOX WILL HAVE TO BE SLIGHTLY SMALLER AND ONLY 9 INCHES DEEP. TAKE ALL PIECES PAINT THEM BLACK. BOTH SIDES IF YOU WISH BUT PAINTING THE INSIDES ONLY IS ESSENTIAL FOR A GOOD PICTURE. THE BLACKER THE BETTER. MAKE SURE YOU USE FLAT OR MATT BLACK PAINT.
STEP 8.
ONCE THE PIECES ARE DRY, ITS TIME TO STICK THEM TOGETHER. USING SMALL PIECES OF DUCT TAPE, FORM THE SIDES OF THE BOX (BLACK ON THE INSIDE) AND STICK THE SMALL PIECES OF DUCT TAPE ON SO IT HOLDS ITS SHAPE. REPEAT THIS FOR THE INSIDE BOX TOO.

STEP 9.
NOW THAT THE BOX IS HELD IN PLACE REINFORCE AND CLOSE THE GAPS BY RUNNING A STRIP OF DUCT TAPE DOWN EACH JOIN.
STEP 10.
NOW TAKE THE FOCUSING BOARD AND INSERT THE MAGNIFYING LENS IN IT. STICK IT WITH DUCT TAPE TO ONE END OF THE SMALLER FOCUSING BOX.

STEP 11.
TURN YOUR TV UPSIDE DOWN.(IT WON'T DO ANY MAJOR DAMAGE, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THIS THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE).WITH DUCT TAPE ATTACH THE OUTSIDE BOX TO THE SCREEN OF YOUR TV MAKING SURE TO CLOSE ANY GAPS SO THAT NO LIGHT WILL ESCAPE. THEN INSERT THE FOCUSSING BOX INSIDE THE BIGGER BOX. YOU ARE NOW READY TO USE YOUR PROJECTOR.

STEP 12.
SOMETIMES IT IS DIFFICULT TO PREDICT WHAT THE BEST POSITION FOR THE TV AND FOCUSING BOX SHOULD BE TO GET A PICTURE. I ALWAYS START BY LINING UP THE OUTSIDE END OF THE BOX ABOUT 2 INCHES FROM THE WALL, THE PICTURE IS VERY SMALL BUT AT LEAST YOU KNOW ITS WORKING. THEN SLOWLY MOVE THE TV AND PROJECTOR AWAY FROM THE WALL UNTIL THE DESIRED SCREEN SIZE IS ACHIEVED. THEN USE THE FOCUSING BOX TO FOCUS THE IMAGE. IT WILL TAKE A LITTLE FIDDLING AROUND WITH BUT YOU'LL GET IT.


DON'T WANT TO TURN YOUR TV UPSIDE DOWN? HERE ARE THE ALTERNATIVES.

THE FIRST ALTERNATIVE IS TO PUT YOUR TV ON ITS BACK WITH THE PROJECTOR ON FACING THE CEILING. THIS WILL THEN PROJECT THE IMAGE INTO THE CEILING. YOU COULD LAY BACK AND WATCH THE MOVIE ON THE CEILING OUR PLACE A MIRROR AT A 45 DEGREE ANGLE AT THE END OF THE PROJECTOR. THE IMAGE WILL THEN BE PROJECTED ONTO THE MIRROR AND BOUNCE OFF ONTO THE WALL REVERSING THE IMAGE TOP TO BOTTOM.
THE ONLY OTHER ALTERNATIVE IS TO WATCH THE SCREEN UPSIDE DOWN. ADDING ANOTHER MAGNIFYING LENS WILL NOT TURN THE IMAGE AROUND THE RIGHT WAY.

HOW TO INSERT THE FRESNEL LENS.

MEASURE THE DIAMETER OF THE 5TH BIGGEST CIRCLE ON THE FRESNEL LENS AND HALF THE AMOUNT TO GET THE MEASUREMENT OF THE RADIUS. SET YOUR COMPASS AT THIS MEASUREMENT AND PLACE THE POINT OF THE COMPASS ON THE MIDDLE MARK OF THE FRONT PANEL. DRAW YOUR CIRCLE AND CUT IT OUT. USE DUCT TAPE TO HOLD THE RECTANGULAR SHAPED LENS IN PLACE. (USING DUCT TAPE WILL ALLOW YOU TO TURN OR MOVE THE LENS IF YOU HAVE TO.
